- Muscle relaxant (relaxes muscles, nerves and promotes blood circulation)
- Nootropic (Improves cognitive functions, memory by acting on the hippocampus)
- Radiant and supple skin (anthocyanins increase the levels of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid contained in the skin)
- Eye health (proanthocyanidin helps improve eyesight by increasing circulation in the eye capillaries)

FAQ

Can I drink blue tea every day?

Regarding the dose to consume per day: no restrictions either! Butterfly Pea is not dangerous for your health.

However, we recommend one to two cups per day containing 5 to 10 dried Butterfly Pea flowers, organic of course!

Be careful not to take a nosedive if you drink too much!

When to consume Butterfly Pea infusion?

Of course, you can consume it whenever you want, there is no obligation when it comes to relaxing with your little infusion. However, we want to project you into drinking your blue tea. Indeed, given the benefits it contains, a Butterfly Pea ritual is welcome!

You should know that in Thailand and Taiwan, Butterfly Peas are eaten following special occasions. In fact, they are in the habit of drinking a violet infusion after leaving the Spa or any other relaxing activity because it acts on the nervous system as we told you above.

We therefore advise you to drink it after this type of activity such as meditation or at the end of the day in order to relax your muscles and your mind. Relax Max, in other words!

Contraindication and side effects of Butterfly Pea

There are no side effects when consuming blue tea today. However, overconsumption can cause nausea and diarrhea.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should avoid blue tea because there is not enough data on possible side effects in these cases.

Finally, we wanted to emphasize that only flowers are consumable. The seeds and roots are not and could cause diarrhea, nausea and diuresis!

How to consume Butterfly Pea flower?

There are many ways to consume the Butterfly Pea flower. This can include hot or cold infusions, cocktails with alcohol (or without obviously), making ice cubes, lattes... But that's not all! You can also add the whole flowers as is in a salad to bring colorful notes and a floral and slightly sweet taste.

In short: have fun with its color, you are the culinary artist. Why not use it as food coloring?
